Beautiful!

This was a beautifully well written book. You will go on an emotional roller coaster but worth it in the end. Make sure you have your tissues ready. I would recommend this book and author.

Narration by Leigh DeSalles was spot on. She brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to it.

Wonderful

Absolutely wonderful writing on the Author's part.
I loved all the excitement and love. The story in general had me wanting more. I was in tears by the end of the book.
This is definitely one that everyone should listen too.

Have tissues handy

This was a wonderful story. I found myself making the speed go faster because I couldn't wait to see what happened next! Lots of fun stuff in this story! Susan Meachen is a new author for me and she really sucks you in. Leigh DeSalles does a fantastic job with men and women in this story. She has a beautiful voice and really brings this story to life. By the end of the story I was in tears!

Wow!!! Heart warming and wrenching all at the same time

I absolutely loved the characters Emily, Blake, and her best friend! I became invested in the not so perfect love story! The author pulled at my heart strings through this whole book.
Narration wasn’t my favorite at the beginning but completely grew on me throughout the book.

Blake has everything, He wants the chance to make Emily his. Even though they're from different back grounds, he is obsessed with her. When together, their chemistry is electrifying. They both have secrets but will these secrets destroy their love for each other?
This poignant story is passionate, steamy, heartbreaking and sorrow.
Leigh De Sales narration shows all the love and emotions. I enjoyed listening to this story. I was gifted the audio and offered my honest review.

A Moving and Fast Paced Book of Love and Loss

This book sits squarely in the adult genre with very dark themes and an adult sexual relationship explicitly described. It is not for the faint-hearted but is moving and unique.

This relationship commences with a relentless obsessional pursuit by Blake of the MC, Emily. Despite that, Blake brings a plethora of good things to Emily's life which leads her to overlook and accommodate his dark past and in return, to offer him faithfulness and unwavering love. The kind of commitment that strengthens over serious life trials.

I found the narration to be very strong and to manage the variety of male and female voices as best as they can be without employing a male actor to tag team with. I will look forward to future books narrated by Leigh.

Intense!!

I read the this book and it was an intense and ugly cry book, at the same time it was also a great romance. Blake and Emily' s journey is shared with us through Ms. Meachen, Emily's journey was hard and painful. It was so hard to read that she suffered through child slavery at such a young age. Little did she know that she was being watched and protected by Blake! Her knight in shining armor. He would do anything for Em. Saving Emily from the life she was thrown in. Blake has his demons that he has no control of. Will Emily finally be happy? Will Blake be able to control his demons now that he found Emily? Ms Meachen shows us that no matter what life throws at us there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. This book is an emotional rollercoaster, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Take a chance, follow An on her journey.

Ms Leigh DeSalles brings this book to life. Her voice is amazing reading both the female and male lines. I can't wait to listen to the 2nd book Letting Go. Part 2 to Chance Encounter.

fairytale blown apart

Emily's mom was a nightmare and an evil leech. Blake and Em faced many set backs in their relationship but their love was strong enough to see them through it and keep them together. I was in awe about how much Blake loved Em and did for her. Em was a strong person, but I'm sure by the end of the story she felt as gutted and desolate as I am right now crying my eyes out!! No one said life was fair!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator didn't fit the story or do male voices very well. I think a male narrator would have been a better choice.
