Lieutenant Shaw and the Deadmen succeeded in uncovering the ancient secrets hidden on the deadly planet, Arbornides. Great story progression
I listened to all of the books in this series back to back. The first a few books were great, but lacked some depth in the story, but as things continued, the narrative transitioned away from action and fighting to include more depth. The fighting and action are definitely still there, but I think the author did a great job of balancing the story with the action and the character development.

Wolrd Building and Scifi mechanic
One of the best most action packed and engaging scifi series I've read.
The best part is probably all of the systems/mechanics the author has constructed. Mechs, sentinels, ancients, nanites all done with taste and well executed
