This was much better than I expected...
This was actually a better book than I expected as MC, Noah Rivers tells us his hard luck story with seemingly no embellishments added, and no flourishes coloring his life... This was actually a book where I wanted to grab Noah (now known as Edge) away from Pacey Holden the author until Pacey promises to make nice with Edge and treat him better! But unfortunately Pacey Holden does what he does and Edge has to make the best of it. My feelings be damned 😒!
So yeah grab the book and see what you think. And as usual Ryan Kennard Burke narration is great.

The unpredictable storyline stood out the most. You didn’t really know what to expect next from the author.
The storytelling style is very similar the the author’s previous books. I did love the occasional fourth wall break from the main character and the subtle jab at Star Wars.
