I am an unlikely person to be a long-haul trucker. People comment that I look more like a librarian or an English teacher than a trucker. And I have been both. Trucking is physically a little too hard for me. Perhaps for this reason, my life as a trucker has been one of radical dependence on God. The truck runs, after all, by grace, and I’m on the road only as long as God wants me to be. I have truly experienced that God’s mercies are new every morning and are inexhaustible. He always helps! That’s what this story is about.

Annette takes the reader on a journey through her trucking experience. Her detail oriented way of explaining things makes me want to meet the characters in real life. Annette‘s calming voice made the book easy to listen to and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

A great book!

I never really paid much attention to the semi trucks on the road until I listened to this book. I have high regard now when I see them on the expressway. I often look to see who’s driving when I am a passenger.To think all they do for us to have what we need, makes me so thankful.To know a woman truck driver and to hear her story and see God’s amazing grace through this all really has made a life impression on me forever.The narrator was clear and concise and a pleasure to listen to.
