Best Matt Pyane book yet!

I served my adult life in large city law enforcement, and this book him home. The fact politicians used his Godfather was going to feed him to the wolves was so surreal. Great read, I couldn't stop.

A recovery from the DuBois mess in the previous story

I don’t know if WEB the elder had a hand in this story but it was better than the one prior authored by DuBois

Great Book

This is a wonderful story and great book. I’m very much looking forward to finding out what happens to Matt Pain.

Character development

I am pleased with the main characters and how they have developed over the course of the series. I know other readers have questioned the “time jump”, but I like the more modern stuff like cell phones, laptops, etc., being brought in. I think the author, is keeping the series going in the overall vein his father started! Keep writing, I’ll keep reading (listening on Audible)!

anxiously awaiting the next book! love this series and the characters. coming to the book's end is always sad.
