Excellent story & narration. Dry sense of humor. Lots of action. Nice job of character development. I have thoroughly enjoyed the series.

All the Facts

One becomes enmeshed in the story line by Native facts. All the different families involved and how entangled they are. His gun facts and all logistic information one could not make up are never ending. No one has a sketchy back story. Every character is fleshed out.

Great cast of characters including Arliss, Min, Lola and so many more return from previous books to continue making a great series of stories.

Love all of the Cutter books! Chandler is one of my favorite narrators.
If you love these stories, you should also listen to the Jericho Quinn series also by Marc Cameron!

Alaska setting

Narrator was like listening to someone read a book with little variation between characters. Story line interesting twist but did not bring closure. Assume another book in the works

Fast Paced with Great Characters

Marc understands Alaska - from living here - and brings the vast geography to life. The characters lead interesting and relatable lives. And no one writes an action scene like Marc. I can not wait for the next installment.

I re-listened to the beginning once I was done to be sure I heard what I thought I heard. At 12:45 mins into the book David Chandler says' 1500 miles to the east of Alaska.... in the Russian city of Petrapofklusk (definitely misspelled by me!). If I am not mistaken any Russian city would be to the west of Alaska. Now whether Marc Cameron wrote it incorrectly or David Chandler read it incorrectly - I do not know since I do not have a hard copy of the book.

Any way I love this Arliss Cutter series. Wish marc could write them faster, I could do with one a month!.

I think this is the best of the series so far.

I just wish Arliss would get on the job of helping Mim figure out if Ethan was murdered - this part of the book series has drug on too long. And btw Mim you are a nurse-get a dna sample!

David Chandler is a great narrator for this type of character…love Joe Pickett too. Marc Cameron can really write edge of your seat action scenes! The characters are engaging and diverse ..the storyline keeps you wondering how they are going to survive this one.
