Wow

I had read the Scorpio Races in the beginning of the year and had so many problems with it. Can’t believe it is the same author! Makes me want to reread her previous books. I get that some people can have a hard time with her writing style as it feels too simple and middle grade at times, too poetic in other scenes… but I loved her writing! It felt real and magical at the same time, funny and deep. The story is really well developed and there are so many cliffhangers on every chapter you won’t want to put it down. One complaint: Merida doesn’t feel like Merida, but a 5 year old at the beginning. She gets a pretty solid character arc so I won’t even complaint

absolutely enchanting

I always love Maggie Stiefvater's writing, and I was not disappointed in my first audiobook listen of her work. The narrator was absolutely brilliant in how she portrayed the different voices in the story. This one I would happily relisten to.

Really great listen, have loved this author for a while and the narrater was fantastic. Really drew me into the story. The ending leaves me hoping for more

Amazing Story and great lessons

It was amazing! The story of Merida and the gods plus a backstory to her whole family. It was mind blowing and absolutely beautiful. Tricks, bargains, and growth. All of these thing shaped everyone of them to the point that they made changes physically, mentally, and emotionally. There NEEDS to be a sequel!!!

Wonderful - perfection

This book is so wonderful. It holds true to the Disney Movie but it is not a Disney book. It is somehow what we love about Maggie’s books and characters even though it started out Disney.

I liked the not being able to guess the ending. Wonderful addition to the 1st movie.
