loved the male lead voice, good story

Message to authors, please stop writing weak female leads, always stupid thoughts. It's sickening to hear over and over. Yes, most women over think things out but not till your crazy For the age of most leads females it does not make sense, I really disliked why Ava lives, and then again at what happens later. If Ava was such an over thinker she would have better planned and seek her lovers help, with his power, and she knows he listens to her. Her distrust at start made sense, then story goes to left, sweet ending.

Not too bad. This book is maybe my least favorite in this series but still good.
The female MC took me some getting used to though due to the fact that her internal dialog was very repetitive. Both narrator's did a fabulous job!
I will say that it is very fair to say that the triggers warnings are spot on so if you plan on reading this going in with that in mind. All in all rounds out the collection well and would be interested to see what happens next if there is a next.

I need more books in this series!

This book is my second favorite.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series.

The perfect anti-hero romance!

First and foremost, the voice actors were phenomenal. They bought the MCs to life and I enjoyed every second of it. Kieran and Ava’s story was HAWT, action-packed, and filled with drama. Those bedroom scenes had me fanning myself lol. Kieran is the definition of a true anti-hero. He can kidnap me anytime!

This book just gets better and better

Bound for You is my favorite book in this series and one of my favorite books in this whole genre. I’ve read it four times. I wanted a story about Kieran from the first time I read about him. His story has travel, danger, mental illness, spirituality, suffering, murder, swag and most of all the healing power of love and delivers the message there’s someone out there for everyone. It does get dark and kinky but the overall story knocks it out of the park for me. I think it would make a great movie with some editing, (think The Godfather). I’d recommend it. Well done!

Talk about tears

I laughed, cried, and crossed my legs due to my imagination from listening to this book. Huge fan I hope Amerie keep this series going. I love the variations of cultures. Not everyone black is from one country and I LOVE IT. Kieran had me lookin at men that fit his profile just to have a visual. Looking forward to more.

Whew! So much to unpack!

I enjoyed the entire series although book 3 was the most difficult to listen to. There was nothing redeemable about Camdyn for me and also, I’m just in to teen or YA. For the series as a whole, I am conflicted between the level of violence toward these women and believing that they were still drawn to these men despite it all and trying to just enjoy the fantasy of it all. That said, I appreciate flaws and the depth of some of the characters. What was redeemable about Kieran was his quest for healing and his internal/external battle of being kind and loving like his father and violent and deviant like his uncle. It made me hope that he would continue to be better for Ava. Now, Ava…poor thing! Her part of tue storyline was so heart wrenching! Overall, I love AA’s writing, even the difficult parts and I became completely invested in this Mackenzie/McFarland world. I hope AA continues this saga because I really need to know what happens to Jaimie, need to see Ava in therapy, and I just need Erica to win! Lol I’m rooting for these characters and I hope AA has more from this world in store!
