Cute Story
I found this story to be quite cute and sweet. I probably would have liked it a lot better if I had read it and not listened to it. The narrator ruined my listening experience. Her voice is so monotone overall and her British accent was laughable. Her accents switched between bad British, Scottish, Australian, and even French and that was all for the same character. I would recommend reading this story as it is a sweet read.

Cute story, mediocre narration
I follow the author, Summer Nawaz, on social media and first read “Bound” when it was released. Summer is a terrific young author and has improved substantially since writing Bound. The plot of bound is cute and fits many enjoyable tropes (strangers for roommates; friends to significant others; jealous best friend; musician boyfriends.) However, I had a hard time consuming the audio narration of this story. Valerie Burgess does little justice to Kelsey - she sounds terribly depressed, flat and nearly monotone even when she’s “happy”, meanwhile Cooper and the other English characters have cringe-worthy accents. I enjoy audiobooks where the narrators are story tellers and have the ability to change tone, inflection, pace, and more. This narration disappointingly had none of those qualities. (I received a free promotional credit from the author to download this audiobook.)
