not worth the money or credit

I was given this book for an honest opinion, that being said I was terribly disappointed no character development not enough back story.

Good short story!

This is my first Nicole R. Locker's book and this won't be the last. I like the two main characters, Rogan and Farren. I like to have the point of view of the two of them. I also like Farren's Grandma and Shea, her best friend. This is a short story with a strong woman and a strong and protective man. There are heartwarming and steamy moments and a little suspense. I think the second book will fill the blanks to help us to well understand what happened in the past and I can't wait to read/listen to it. The narration isn't the best I had experienced, Elizabeth Tebb's voice isn't bad, but the sound quality isn't really good. I think it will be better in book 2. Also, there is a little blank in the narration near the end of chapter 16, but since I read/listen, I haven't lost anything. Overall, I really appreciated this story.

Story is cute fluff, but Narrator is HORRIBLE

The story is the usual fluff, highly unrealistic but that pretty much what you expect and are looking for in these type of stories. But the narrator sounded like she had been called on to read aloud in high school. Random breaks, sometimes numerous in a single sentence, and obvious hesitations to pronounce pretty common words (ex Statuesque). Honestly if ut wasn't for the occasional accents I would say it was a case of an AI reading text to speech. She does improve somewhat later in the book, but its still noticeable. But just as her reading improves the actual audio starts getting static and cuttingin and out in the background.

So short you could not connect to the characters. It needs a rewrite, more depth. It has potential to be great. Rewrite and fire the narrator. He male voices are awful. Ruins the book. Returning book. Not worth the credit. Also the book just cuts out at Chapter 15.

the story is a little week . The narrator's male voice was bad. and the audio went out in chapter 15 for about a minute.
