Cameron’s only protection is anonymity, but a journalist who has been following the SimCavalier for months goes public with the story. The SimCavalier’s identity is compromised, and Cameron’s in danger. Cameron’s trusted lieutenant, Ross, is trapped and blackmailed by the very cybercriminals that he and his colleagues should be chasing. He sets a false trail, distracting Cameron from the real threat as the seeds of destruction and disaster are planted.
