Resumen del Editor

The world's wealthiest people didn't get rich by accident. Whether by smart investment, sharp business intuition, or a combination of talent, grit and circumstance, billionaires have done something right. Or they had a whole lot of luck - a crap-load of it. Everything is going great for Tag as he settles into the corporate lifestyle. Between his new line of work and having his favorite girl, Melanie, by his side, things could not be better.

His perfect little fantasy comes to a grinding halt as his father recuperates from his heart attack and begins making regular appearances at the office. Things becomes more complicated as Tag learns that his father is interested in Melanie - physically interested - and is also harassing Tag's grandfather into trying to sell his shop.

In the meantime, Tag and Melanie try to find the true identity of Mr. Romeo, the mysterious stranger who's blackmailing his father, all while secretly planning to start a competing business. As Tag struggles to hold everything together, will he be able to pull off becoming a permanent CEO of his own company? Will they be able to figure out his father's dirty secret behind the mysterious stranger, Mr. Romeo?

Mystery Continues

The only reason to continue listening is definitely the mysterious Romeo. And what had happened to his mother because that's all there is to this series. Besides the fact the father dislikes his son's for some reason.

meh

The office "games" with tag and mel were immature and inappropriate. Tag's dad needed some lessons in humanity and maturity. #metoo!!!! Finally, Tag man's up. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was okay.

One star is too many

Author has no idea what she wants to focus on. The story meanders between too many themes. The Hero is dumb and petulant. Willing to accept money from daddy for abuse. He has no skills and his dad gave him the acting CEO because he was his son which is ridiculous as Dad seems to care about his company. The boy had no skills and the story glossed over the lack of skills. Dad was violent, slapping him in book 1 after being verbally abusing to him and his female friends and punching him in this one. Father is also abusive verbally to women and assaults the love interest more than once. The hero is really less than useless for 75% of the book.

The love interest puts up with his father’s disgusting behaviour without recognising her position of influence and expertise and searching for a new job. For a woman the book kept making out was mart she did not have a lick of sense, especially since the father seemed to have been sexually harassing her for some time. She could have got a better job elsewhere and there was no explanation why she didn’t try.

The main character’s ex love interest pops up randomly for no real reason to cause havoc and there is no motivation for it. She was so useless to the story other than a rare plot mechanism that is wasted.

The mystery of his mother and a potential enemy of the dad is touched on twice and used as a lure but not enough to make it with wading through this horrible book.

The narrator is also horrible. This book should have had a male narrator since it was from the male point of view and. The women sounded shrill and unlikeable and quite stupid (which matched their actions too, except grandma).

I was hoping this book would get better but it got worse and once again the mystery ignore for 95% of the book is used to hook the reader into the third book after wasting time in silly things in this book.

horrible narration and no story line

since I dragged myself with book one I pushed myself for book 2.
narrator has a horrible tone for different people which gets you on your nerves.
absolutely no story line.
if I want to get to the end I have to suffer through book 3.
