Sam Hunt is hell bent on making it on his own and stepping out of the shadows of his controlling and tyrannical family. Loved the story and the relationship. Would have like to see their romance taken further and more depth to it. The narrator was great and made the story easy to follow.

Little to short of a listen for me but good. April and Sam go way back... Six years back. He was the one that gave her first opportunity for a real job. She's been his right hand all this time, helped him when he was in his worst and stood by his side. And through all of that she's been lusting after him. Sam hasn't noticed and it isn't until he's new piece on the side/model throws some ugly remarks of April that he notices his feelings for her, but it my be too late. Loved how easy it was too listen.

Cute story, I like that the characters didn't jump straight into bed with one another. I like the history that was revealed, as well as all the tension both characters endured. No hang ups, and no cliffhangers. This is a perfect book when you're looking for a quick read.
