I want more

I loved this story. I purchased as an audible upgrade from receiving a copy from free sand knew nothing about the plot or author. I realised it was supernatural immediately and internally cringed thinking it was going to turn into a Twilight wannabe. I was relieved that the story was unique on its own. Don't get me wrong, I L-O-V-E-D Twilight but we don't need a replica. My only complaint is I wish I could get a visual of the transformation from human to wolf and vise versa. The author describes it just fine but I guess I'm prewired to imagine werewolves one way (think Underworld and New Moon) that when she goes to explain it my brain can't imagine it. Note to author, must...have...pictures. =)

Who is afraid of the big bad.....?

Angry daughter of a murder victim decides to get revenge . there was a lot of action and romantic moves in this book. Enjoyed the time spent with these characters.

The book is about a werewolf that finds it mate and a reluctant mate. The outcome is predictable, but the story in between entertaining. Also I found the other characters in the story interesting and will make for good follow up stories. The romance is steamy but not overdone, and the twists and turns of the story kept me interested. The narrator does a good job with the voices and with keeping all the characters distinguishable. I must also tell you that a gifted copy was provided by the author for an honest review but I can easily recommend this audiobook.

Who was really big and bad

I am just going to tell you. You go in think the big bad is one and it’s really the other. This tale has much to see but not so much on depth. There were some places not clear. There are overlying arcs that will not be solve in this first installment.

I like the Wolvens. I like my first journey in to a Saranna story. I this take on that fairy tale. It is quite possible that red got it all wrong. I want to see what more there is to this series. I am a bit afraid to try it via audio. The next narrator did not get good ratings.

Hollie Jackson is one of my go to narrators. She can hold a story together and drive you to want more. She is consistent with vocals. Pitch tone and clarity.

Witty writing sets Big Bad apart from other rich romance stories

I’m not always a fan of the super rich romance books. They seem to follow the same tropes over and over. The billionaire part is just a side note to the real story. The writing is filled with puns and metaphors, making it unique and humorous- even when situations are troublesome.
The storyline moves a bit quickly, and not always in the best way. One minute they may talk of moving slowly, yet the speed picks up a bit unnatural at times. However, this does not diminish the book as a whole.
Narration is well done with good vocal inflections for different characters.
Overall good listen.
