I absolutely love The Stamford Mysteries series! I was so excited when I saw this one was coming out for a fun October read and instantly had to listen. Once I started it I could not stop until I found out the answers to this newest murder investigation.

This one might be my absolute favorite ( though I said the same for Murder Most Antique and Death at the Auction haha). This was a gripping, perfect Halloween story. Felicia was once again thrown into the middle of a grand mystery. The spooky, don’t ask questions, closed off setting of this old school posh hotel story was perfect. I loved how detailed everything was from the setting to the characters involved.

Every time I thought I had someone pegged as the killer a twist would be thrown in. No one in this story is a saint and all would have great motives when you get down to the nitty gritty. But the ending had me gasping like I was Margret having just had to see a non townie do something that offended me (iykyk).

I would absolutely recommend reading this for the spooky season and beware. Not everything is as it seems and no matter how hard you try to keep things perfect. Someone is bound to find a way to unravel it 👀

Perfect Halloween Story
