Beware narrator change is AWFUL!

I enjoyed the series overall but boy was it hard to adjust to this narrator! He detracted from the story and it made it REALLY difficult to finish. I’d love the author to get a different narrator and re-release books 13-15.

The narrator

I love the storyline but the narrator for books 13- through 18, I don’t like the way he’s reading the material, he doesn’t differentiate the characters, and it’s hard for me to pay attention to him, whereas the other narrator for books one through 12 was fantastic.

Not sure I can finish

After listening to 12 books with one narrator, it is a new one starting at book 13. The new narrator is hard to tolerate. Every time he voices the women, he makes them sound whiny. The men all sound the same and one character has lost his accent. It is hard to listen to and quite disappointing.

If it isn't broken don't fix it.. new narrator is ruining the series for me.

The new narrator makes it so hard to enjoy book 13 I just started it. Why are you yelling? The tone of voice is so sharp and feels anxious not enjoyable. It's like listening to someone over act horribly. Struggling through a script, stopping at inappropriate moments, and reading the bits that aren't supposed to be ready out loud!

I find myself giggling at the reader more distracted by the reading instead of being stolen away by the story plot sadly.

This should in the catalog as LGBTXYZ.

William is still a puss, But it goes further than that, He becomes a snowflake. I truly believe that this story is to drive women in front.
To the woke agenda. Just about every strong man in this story is a Flim bullion gay dude with the exception of Hawk. But the author had a shatter his dreams which sucked.. Then comes the narration of this story, It's a different narrator from the others and I had to Suffer through three books with this guy's voice. It was driving me nuts, I was so used to the original narrator from all the other books and he had to switch it on me. Not cool! Good news though, I'm starting to like Olga... Someone, The author still trying to push the women's rights agenda that women can do what men can do.. That is simply an utterly absurd.

I love Joanie!!!! 5 stars other than the NARRATOR for chapters 13 on.

I could barely stand to listen to this breathless narrator to the point I questioned whether or not to finish the series. What happened to Eric Brian Moore???


Pretty sure he didn’t study the prior books, mannerisms and accents. He’s not doing the writer justice!

having a hard time with the new voice :( If this were the first set I would stop listening but I'm too invested.

Awful narration good story

Story was good as usual very disappointed in the narration sounded like he was in a tin box. The whole time had no reflection to his voice. I don’t know that I’ve heard him narrate any other stories, but will definitely watch for his name and not choose those stories cause his voicewas very distracting

New narrator is awful

They changed to a new narrator and he is truly abysmal. Honestly, I think they grabbed someone out of the mailroom as asked if they could read. If I didn’t want to find out the rest of the story, I would stop listening. Grating, jarring, really awful!!!

the narrator change is horrible

the audio sounds like it was recorded on a cellphone in the early 2000s; on top of that the narrator is just bad. The voices he makes for the characters (especially Nick) are terrible and he seems detached.
