Acerca de esta escucha

Betrayed and killed by the god destined to love her

He was meant to be her lover, but he would rather see the Omega dead than surrender to Fate's snare.

No one escapes the Realm of Death, but if Annabel doesn't find a way out, her mates will die along with her, and Ragnarök will leave nothing behind but darkness and ashes.

Her only hope is to win the heart of the god who killed her. But even if she can trick her way into his icy soul, can she ever love a man whose hatred for her reaches back to the moment of her birth?

Contains mature themes.

This book review: it feels like half the book is extremely drawn out battle scenes that don’t advance the story. I don’t need to know every single action of each player during a battle. It is the end and the story is about developing the relationship with the final mate…once that is established rather quickly (it’s romance…stick to interpersonal conflict, not DnD battles with a 12 year old DM… when one has all Saturday and can have random events occur all day and much is irrelevant. EDIT!)

The last half of the book can be trimmed down to a single chapter. It’s tedious to listen to poorly edited novels, and this gets tedious. I started spacing out. Book doesn’t hold one’s attention.

Had potential with the interpersonal relationship between protagonists and truly dropped the ball. That is a harder part to write, over cliché battles.

Series review: It’s ok, narration is ok. This book gets tedious.
