Armon Ellington is 19 year old kid that always felt out of place. He's an orphan, a gamer, and a role playing game geek. When he dies after a 72 hour gaming marathon, instead of going to an afterlife he's transported to a new world governed by rules that are eerily similar to the RPG games he loves. On this new world, Terra, he can be anything he wants, a warrior, mage, or even a crafter. Only, Armon wants more than that, he also wants friends and family.
Join Armon on his journey through this amazing new world where he'll go on adventures, explore dungeons, slay monsters and hopefully find the friends and family he never had on Earth.

Second story, an ok start and mid but gets dry mid to end. Last 30 mins sounds like something that needs to start sooner or could be more with more detail as it feels like it just ends when an interesting plot finally starts. MC seems ok but too mindless with sex on the mind when talking to women too often.
Third the writing needs rewording in a lot of places. Far, far too many places does the writer "tells and not shows" what is. Far too many locations feel like "dark lord is evil, and dark lord hates light lord because light lord is good." when it should be more "A man stands in impossible shadows hiding his link to the evil god. With a distance not far enough for his liking, the lord of dark leers to the man that is his inverse."
Also, the MC's magic teacher is written very oddly... half elf that is very old, mc hits on her, but then she.. becomes his mother for some reason...? All of that character's interactions are very odd.
Bad Writing

Jill Smith does a good job of bring some semblance of life to the characters, but falls short at times when it comes to reacting to certain situasions
meh.

Very well read and just enough "acting" to fill in the edges making it one of the most enjoyable audible books in my collection.
Need to escape from reality for a while

Those are just glaring examples, but there are a few other times where things just didn't sound right.
I don't return books unless there's something I absolutely hate about them... so I won't be returning this one. I won't be continuing the series however.
The math of this book doesn't add up.
