Excellent Read!

Anyone interested in faith-based poverty alleviation will be in for a treat. I recommend this book 100x.

Enlightening

I enjoyed this book through its challenges, new ideas (to me), and revelations. I believe all people who give to and/or help Christian ministries should listen to this as I believe the Church would see greater impact in poor communites based on what is presented.

Questions, challenges, answers and a place for discussion!

Dr. Fikkert, as always, puts forth a compelling argument with incredibly validating stories of transformation. He uses deep access to resources outcomes and avoids the often complaining/comparing style that is so common today. He makes his pints, proofs and stories of truth and let’s you chew on these thoughts in hopes to see transformation towards a heart of love.

Life-changing (literally and practically)

Narrator fits the content and clearly communicates life-changing insights on “stories of change” and human flourishing.

Eye opening

Eye opening look at poverty alleviation. I learned a lot. now how to put it into practice. thank you for providing this excellent Christ centered resource.

A must read

This book is helping me to gain a better understanding and appreciation of God's story of change that is taking place in my life.
