Sweet and relatable

It's nice to find characters who are relatable and flawed, and John Solo does a wonderful job of bringing T H Compton's characters to life. I loved the pace of the story, too. It was just right.
More please :)

Short, sweet, well-written

I didn’t know what to expect from this new to me author. I got a sweet, body positive, insta-love story that was over too soon. I’d happily listen to more of Logan and Caine’s story. The book really is well-written, but it was over so quickly. Maybe the author will give us a bigger bite next time.

The epilogue seemed to set up the next book. Will we get to see more of the growing relationship between these two as well? I hope so.

John Solo was solid, as always. I was engrossed in the scenes and characters rather than noticing the narrator. In my opinion, that’s a job well done.

Beautifully Heartwarming! Great Story & Listen🎧

It thrilled me to hear that TH Compton’s debut novel coming to audio and by no other than the wonderful John Solo, who did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. “Beautifully Built” is a charming and heartwarming romance that tugged on my heartstrings and captivated my attention the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. I adored both lead characters, Logan and Caine, the secondary characters were just as fabulous too. Logan has some insecurities and self-worth issues stemming from his weight, being an introvert does not help matters either, he’d rather stay home and hang with his cat than go out but his good friend, Syl, pushes him out of his comfort and gets him to go out. Once out, he is fine and has a good time with his friends. Caine is the co-owner of the Built Bar, he has always been more of a hookup type of guy but would not mind meeting his special someone. And then someone’s laugh captured his attention, and after he saw him, he knew he wanted to meet him. Logan was not expecting to capture anyone’s attention, never mind the hot bartender. At first he did not know how to act, but Caine convinced him he was interested in getting to know him more. I loved how everything played out in this beautifully written and plotted story, a low on angst and high on charm story that has the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Compton touches on something many deal with in their lives, a serious topic which she keeps real, but does not drag the story down with it, instead she lifts the story up and turns it in to a feel-good story that leaves you smiling. TH Compton, thank you for this wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, John Solo is a talented narrator and a versatile voice artist. His portrayal of these characters was spot on, giving each a voice that fit their persona perfectly and was believable in every role he played. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into his performance. Solo is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

Short and Sweet

Sweet short story with excellent character and relationship development. Will definitely be on the lookout for more from this author. Perfectly narrated.

Short and sweet and steamy

This was a nice, short book. I really enjoyed the body positivity, the MCs were likable, I enjoyed the side characters and especially the cat. John Solo did a good job with the narration. I also enjoyed Logan’s journey to accepting himself and that it’s still ongoing. Personal preference here, but I’m not really in to insta love stories, so that was a pretty significant drawback for me.
