Stories about a boy who lives with wolves, great storms that evaporate into thin air, fireflies that make phosphorescent honey, and a house filled with spider webs and the strange man who inhabits it.

Slow but worth it

A little slow and boring at times, but worth it at the end. Great little romance story.

Delightful story

Compelling story.

Relatable characters (in spite of their supernatural experiences).

Not quite like anything else I’ve read, but it felt comfortable somehow.

Overall, just delightful, even in the face of addressing some of our most common difficult emotions. A few of laugh-out-louds, several glassy-eyed moments and chuckles, and ultimately left feeling emotionally bolstered.

This book was a hill to climb for the voice actors, but I think they did well and I couldn’t design a better way to perform it.

Story for the family

Loved the story with my kiddo. The story telling is a little different so give it some time to understand how it all connects. The narration was good and the voices for the characters stayed consistent. A good story with many lessons along the way.

A story that gives a glimpse of loneliness

Read this for book club and though I would not have picked this book myself I enjoyed the listen. The story was like eating a single piece of fine dark chocolate. Bitter-sweet, whimsical and had a smooth finish that left a pleasant yet melancholy aftertaste.

Not my usual fare, but worth the listen.

Feels a lot like the tall tales (Paul Bunyan and the like) that I grew up on but less over the top. Really well balanced action, character development, and backstory reveals. Top-notch narration from the entire group. Liked this a lot more than I expected to 👍👍

A person more comfortable with nature than people

A story of the relationship people have with nature, animals, weather, and people. One man who is more comfortable with animals and wolves than with people. The interactions he has with all the people who really care about him even if they don’t completely understand him. He is magical and amazing and genuine and honest.

A great delight

This is a beautiful delightful book and was enhanced by such skilled narration. The perfect combination of magic and relationships.

I enjoyed every moment of this book. wonderful story wonderful narration I found it hard to give up.

An allTime fave

This is one of those books I didn’t want to end. In fact I listened twice because I just couldn’t get enough. The narration is worth the audible. Excellent!
