STUNNING!!

I read a LOT of books that call themselves Fantasy novels, or folklore, or even Fairytales, but this book was a beautiful blend of storytelling, folklore, and fantasy with a wonderful blend of elemental magic, which can be a wild an at times very uneasy journey into the heart of the Fae of the Elements.
This was truly Beautiful storytelling!!
There’s so much out there that promises fantasy and all it really gives you is teenagers falling in love with some sort of supernatural backdrop, but NOT this book.
I cannot express how refreshing it is to find a book where the characters, though young ( in their 20’s) aren’t teenagers & it doesn’t feel like it’s written for teenagers.
The characters are stubborn and have their challenging qualities, but this is also a part of the plot, it’s woven beautifully and seamlessly into the story as we watch these characters grow and evolve, face themselves in in and different ways.
I am truly blown away.
I am immediately getting the next book in this series & I will continue to explore more of Rebecca Ross and her writing in the future. Oh and the narration was Superb 🙏🏽✨🥂🍾🎊

I enjoyed the majority of the book, just the cliffhanger ending was rough because I didn’t expect g kg.

Oh my. I do love a great accent to a books culture and setting. Absolutely loved this book I couldn’t stop finding ways to do something that would allow me to listen vs picking up a book. Downloaded book two in the last five minutes of listening as I must have the rest of the story NOW!

Stunning

What a stunning book! It weaved a new land where the wind whispers secrets and an enchanted plaid is a protection against the spirits. Beautifully narrated; written like poetry. The plot is well conceived leading the reader to a satisfying conclusion, yet preparing for the sequel.
