Inspirational and Infuriating (guilt-inducing, even) at the same time
A beautiful and important book, performed with life-giving energy by Pippa Haywood. I could feel Carew’s wonder, curiosity and fury through her narration (and how could one fail to feel those emotions while reading Carew’s words?). Recommended.
