If you want to get the full immersive Green Valley world experience, I recommend listening to Truth or Beard, Beard Science, Engagement and Espionage, and Marriage and Murder beforehand. Beard in Hiding contains spoilers for these four books (in specific).

Freaking great!

Narrators Joy Nash and Chris Brinkley always a treat. This is probably my favorite story out of all the Winston brothers books. This has been the only book I could find so far with a survivor of DV finding love again. It’s a mature grown up, self assured love.
Only thing about it is you do really need to get through 3 books before it (“Beard Science”, “espionage and engagement” and “murder and marriage”) but all three of those books are great too so worth it.

Fabulous fun!

Loved the Winston Brothers series and this offering was very entertaining as well. Here’s hoping other tangential characters keep the fun coming.

Another win

I love everything Penny Reid writes. She's got such a great writing style.
I particularly enjoyed this book because in the previous books in this series you're introduced to Diane and Repo/ Jason and they're characters that at you want to hate, but you really can't because you just KNOW there's more to their stories. I'm utterly delighted that she wrote their story and I hope it gives you a many feelings as it gave me.

Loved this story but not it’s ending

Oh this was such a great story and so many unexpected teary moments lol but I was happy with the ending being left unresolved. Other than that everything about this story was heated and heartbreaking sweet all while maintaining your total attention the whole way through.

Chris Brinkley and Joy Nash are everything

I love anytime Chris and Joy are narrating a book. They truly bring anything Penny Reid writes to life.

Great Addition to the Series!

I love the Winston Brother Series and the Solving for Pie Series. although I don't think this book is strong enough as a stand alone, it is a nice addition to the Green Valley Universe!

Great story. Diane’s character was great. It was nice to see into her personality after the terrible way she treated her daughter in other books. Jason was swoon worthy

Couldn't wait for this one to be released. Well worth the wait. I hope Penny Reid writes more redemptive stories for the 40 somethings in Deer Valley.
