Darkness dripped from its windows, spilled blood made up the foundations of its property, and Satan seemed to have a claim on the land. Houses built along its borders nailed their windows shut so they wouldn't have to see it. Evil resided within its ancient walls and did not care who knew it!
Manchester House was legendary—the "Mount Everest" of haunted houses.
Professor Jonathon Holzer knew he had scored the opportunity of a lifetime. With an international crew of paranormal investigators and a mysterious "shaman" named Indrid Night, the man hoped to find some answers. One proviso was that the city council needed to be made aware of his venture, and the police could not help him. He would be alone.

Mind Blowing Horror!
Once a gorgeous mansion, it now sits abandoned and empty except for the evil entities that lurk inside waiting patiently for unsuspecting visitors. Professor Jonathan Holzer, Indrid Night, and their crew of paranormal investigators enter hoping to solve the mystery of the house. They got far more than anyone bargained for!
Allison Church, the author, is the queen of horror! Her imagination, versatile writing skills, and ability to draw the audience in and trap them for hours on end with one thrilling moment after another is an amazing experience! Each character, both living and non-living, was well developed at the needed pace to keep the story moving forward and riveting. The plot twists were not overly complex but still shattering and terrifying! The depth of each character, twist, and storyline is rich with details and imagery. One cannot listen to this book without vividly seeing what is happening!
The narrator, Jeffrey S Fellin delivers a magnificent performance, further enhancing the terror-inducing storyline! He not only captures and projects the terror but also the humanity of each character with subtle tonal changes. His delivery is solid and smooth, and he speaks with clarity. Fellin performs the story as if he himself is experiencing the horrors and evils firsthand!
Overall, it is clear to me that Allison Church is the queen of horror writing and Jeffrey Fellin is the voice! Together they are an amazing pair! By the end of the book, I can guarantee you will be filled with terror, you will not sleep, and you will see all houses differently!
