FEET FEET FEET

with this being the 18th book of the series, not much makes me blush anymore but CHY the foot fetish got me. miss megan is a freak for the feet. but i will say that this book made me laugh out loud more than once. cashol is really funny and i enjoyed hearing their love story. my only complaint is the dracula voice that hollie has started giving the men. don’t fix it if it ain’t broke.

Story was great - love the Flashbacks

I seem to always enjoy Ruby's story as they are diverse and she does a great job switching it up periodically. I really enjoy how this story turned out but what happened to Holly Jackson? I own over 400 Audible books and Holly's original IPB are my absolute favorites to listen to over and over. But she changed how she narrated the characters and gave them a weird, stilted accent. It detracted from the story to such a point that it's worse than the ones Felicity Munroe does. Actually it sounds like Holly was trying to imitate Felicity's accent. It was perfect to begin with - we've all complained about Felicity's odd narration. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't do this again. IPB original series was the gold standard for narration with Holly and Mason Lloyd, don't continue to mess it up.

Megan is not my favorite earth refugee, and it took me a while to listen to this book since there were so many bad reviews. This book is missing just that little something that to make it something besides just a sex book. Personally, I prefer the books when they don’t go back in time to reminisce. I think Marlene’s was the best out of the few that do it. I did enjoy seeing Josie and her brood, hers was one of my favorites. Narrator’s were the same ones as the previous books and there were a lot of complaints in other reviews about them, but they seemed the same to me (maybe a bit off during the smexy times) but I enjoyed them as much as I did with all the other books.

Ice Planet

Book 18 of the Ice Planet Barbarians series... Mason Lord is one of my all-time favorite narrators and Ruby Dixon only the best in Alien Romance... I like the way the characters interact with each other from one book to the other... it brings the whole story together. A group of human females and a group of blue aliens males

The story

The male accent was unnecessary by the female narrator. The story was not bad, but not better than others.

Dracula on Ice Planet?

The female narrative performing the male characters sounds like it was from a 1960s Count Dracula movie.

Loved it!

I was cautious buying this one because of the reviews that I have seen but I ended up loving this one just as much. It is a back in time book because she goes back for Megan’s story. I didn’t mind the voice of cashol when Hollie Jackson speaks for him. It is a bit Dracula but the story line is good enough that it didn’t bother me at all. You know it’s an HEA but you know that with most of her works anyway. Another great one!

Megan and Count Dracula

The story was enjoyable but I had to switch to my kindle to finish it because of the narrator’s decision to make Cashol sound like a terrible Count Dracula impersonator. I don’t know how it ever got approved. It was so distracting that I couldn’t finish the book. Usually Hollie Jackson does a good job with the male characters but this was just so so bad. Just so so bad.

Feet kink

It is not my favorite and the feet kink made it a 3 star. still good though
