A nice surprise.
I've read every one of this series and I must say Marlene is one of my favorite characters. Bold and sassy. I had to cover a laugh a few times. I like the way this one has been set. ruby dixon is a big favorite of mine and she hasn't disappointed.

Don’t listen to the audiobook. Just read this one.
The thick fake French accent is soooo difficult to understand. I’m an hour in, and have probably listened to 3 hours worth at this point because I have to rewind almost every paragraph multiple times. Infuriating. Hollie Jackson is great on the other books, just not this one.

Delightful flash back
It’s fun learning how the other ladies meet with their mates. This store is a bit difficult to listen to as the MC French accent is very thick. It’s also heavy in sexy times and confessions of the heart. a warm fuzzy ending.

Absolutely Hilarious
I have my favorite characters, Marlene and Zenneck are my favorite couple. They’re not hot and heavy, they’re funny!
Marlene is a very VERY “open minded” French Woman. Zennek is a virgin and was not prepared for her openness.
I laughed out loud almost all the way through this book. Marlene is a “hot” mess.

Although Zennek and Marlene’s love story is not my favorite in the series, I enjoyed their dynamic and story regardless and Marlene has become one of my favorite characters from the series as a whole. The narration was also really good, I would definitely read it again!

Sweet sexy story of Marlene and Zenneck
This starts in present day on NotHoth and then continues with a flashback to when the first group landed on the planet. We finally get Marlene’s story and see how she resonates to shy, quiet Zenneck. I love this whole book. Marlene leapt right into resonance which was refreshing but seeing the family with their daughter present day was great too.
Marlene is calm when she wakes up on a new planet because she sees hearts which are a sign from her mother showing her everything will be okay.
When her mate and daughter do not return during a bad snow storm, she looks and looks for a sign from her mother but doesn’t see one.
