In fact, there are a number of uses for baby powder that have nothing whatsoever to do with a lovely child. Baby powder is composed of talc, a mineral with interesting properties. It occurs naturally in such deposits as soapstone, which has a high talc content. Talc, in its loose form, is called Talcum powder. Talcum powder is used in many industries such as paper making, plastic, paint, rubber, and cosmetics.
