Perfect

As I am a huge fan of this series I was super excited to listen to the audio. It did not disappoint. The story was more captivating this time around by the perfect narrator for the story.

That being said, I just wanted to smack Rafe in the head for a good portion of the book; it's a good thing that Peter, being the good Omega that he is, has more patience with his Alpha than I would've...
All in all the story is intriguing, and with a couple of up and downs, so it's really not flat..
Narrator Adam Riley did a really good job with all the different voices and transmitting all the feelings!
I really want to listen to more in this series!

Surprise!!

When Peter and Rafe first meet they have an instant attraction to one another but that meeting did not go well at all! Things definitely change when they meet again at a club! They have lots of chemistry and seem to be exactly what each one is looking for until fate throws them a curve ball. Rafe has to decide what he truly wants in his life and I commend Peter for his patience and understanding. The narrator did a great job with this story and the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

Looking forward to more

This was a sweet story of a 'barren' omega and a fertility specialist that doesn't want children that end up being exactly what the other needs. There were times that I wanted to hit Rafe and other times that I just pitied him. Peter is just the type of omega that I like, one that won't let his alpha walk all over him.

I think this is the first book that I've listened to that was narrated by Adam Riley. He did a good job of distinguishing the characters and they were portrayed how I would think.

As a side note, for those familiar with the TV show Family Guy, Rafe's voice kinda sounds like Joe.

A quick, cute story!

I really enjoyed this story. There was some emotional parts that caused me to tear up but still super sweet. I did wish there was more screens with the baby since getting to have one was an important part of Peter's story. Overall I will be continuing on with the series.

Rafe and Peter

I had a hard time liking Rafe. He’s a jerk throughout a good portion of the book. His hot and cold attitude towards Peter gave me whiplash at times. Peter was feisty enough to call Rafe on his crap, he was no demure omega. Rafe finally pulled his head out of his ass and acknowledges that Peter has changed him. I just wish the author had let us know what exactly it was that caused Rafe to change. In the end, Rafe embraces not just his relationship with Peter but his fatherhood.

The narration is nice and clear with a decent pace.

Beautifully done

This was a stunning tale told with excellent narration all the way through.

The voices were distinct and Adam Riley narrates and presents the story beautifully.

The story trully came to life with his voice.

An unexpected surprise

Peter wants one thing most in the world, to have a baby. But, he keeps being told that he cannot have one.
When Rafe confers with the same diagnosis, Peter gets angry and loses more hope.
When they meet again, instead of anger, sparks and passion ignite between them.
A relationship ensues with an unexpected surprise for them both.
Rafe had some manning up to and I loved how well he handled the whole boat scene.

The narration was done very well and each character was discernible. An engaging story which worth the listen.

All Peter wanted was a baby of his own...

I really enjoyed this novella-length story about Peter, an omega who couldn't conceive, and Rafe, his "baby doctor." Great characters, lots of steam and feels - it had everything I wanted... it's the first in a series, and left me wanting more. Narration from Adam Riley was top notch. Highly recommended.

I Love Beau Brown’s stories! I’ve read this one several times and I really enjoyed listening! I was looking forward to getting the series to listen to but this is the only one on Audible🥲! I really hope that changes!
