Resumen del Editor

Learn to automate your busywork and focus on what really matters

In Automate Your Busywork: Do Less, Achieve More, and Save Your Brain for the Big Stuff entrepreneur, founder, and CEO of Jotform Aytekin Tank delivers a can’t-miss blueprint to help you make the most of your most precious asset: time. You’ll explore what’s possible when you offload repetitive tasks, why automation has democratized innovation, and how you can use cheap―or even completely free―no-code automation tools to transform your ability to focus on what truly matters in your business and life.

In the audiobook, you’ll discover:

  • Why the future of business is no-code, and how you can use an automation-first mindset to unlock your productivity potential
  • How to move from busywork to less work, and finally to having the time you need to accomplish your most important work
  • How you can use delegation and automation to achieve “timefulness,” the state of having enough time

A must-hear handbook for every entrepreneur, founder, business owner, and freelancer who just doesn’t have enough hours in the day, Automate Your Busywork will also earn a place in the libraries of managers, executives, and other business leaders looking to maximize their most valuable resource.

Average Padding

Was hoping for something 'more' I guess, it basically has an hour worth of good information and then proceeds to just pad out software apps you can use for rather dry office work - would have preferred this book to just go over the mindset and then we can go find tools that we make or other have made to lego-brick together into a solution

End of the book is like 'keywords/tools' so people can google these apps mentioned - not a fun listen when it get towards the end of the book. basically --
How to make a sandwich...
tools: 'plate, butter knife'
keywords: 'groceries, kitchen'
sort of not amazing insight if you know the basics of automation/having a job past the aughts.

Ok info through out but again its like 1 hour worth not over 6 hours like the runtime.
Basically even the cover art says all the main text 'do less, achieve more. Save your brain for the big stuff' there lesson fully learned

Basic Information

Very basic and common sense. No real secrets to automation. But JotForm.com is an amazing website I use for my business.

Automate Reduced My Stress!

Although some things were common sense, this book gave me great ideas for reducing my mental stress due to lack of time to complete any work. So far, automating most of my personal & business tasks leaves me time to run my business correctly.

More of an ad than actual help

I had hopes for this title and thought there would be some nice life hacks or inspiring ways to re-think work flow. Instead, instead it was basically an ad for the author's app -- which I cannot install on a company laptop without IT authorization (and that requires an RFP and other red tape). It would not do much good to try it outside of my work processes and communicaiton.

If someone is looking for a way to streamline work, I would highly recommend The Three-Box Solution: A Strategy for Leading Innovation by Vijay Govindarajan (a professor at Dartmouth and former professor at Harvard). The Lean Startup by Eric Ries was also a great book that can be applied to any industry. Both of those focused on innovation, but they have great lessons on how to be much more productive.
