A must read series

I love how the first 3 books led to this one. I could have used a little more but it was well written and the narrators were amazing. This is not a series that you want to miss.

Amazing Series

I have to say I am extremely happy with this entire series. I love black love, and this just made my heart sing. Each character was so real, relatable and had to deal with real life issues. This is my first time listening to anything by Aubree Penn and she’s now in my top favorite POC writers.

So Good…

The woman were not with the BS and the men were trying to come correct and it was comical but touched on important relationship issues and how effectively communicating can work miracles. The humor, the fights, the arguments, the pleading and the pleasure…Oh. My. Gawd was hot potato hot…seggggsy!

Demi is my girl, she’s not afraid to knock a nukka out then go light a fatty with her girls and I love the friendship ship between the women, supportive, there for one another and down for whatever. The men as well, the brotherhood was comical but beautiful to read.

This story comes full circle and resolved questions I had about who, what, when, where and why and as I read, I thought about how scorned women put up defenses to protect themselves and no matter how good a man is or how hard he tries to get through, it’s not until she is ready, feels safe, loved and trusts, will she allow those defenses to come down accepting what he’s trying to pour into her, to them.

These men had the ability to see the goodness and were patient and willing to do what it took for love. This series was a fun read and I love the journey Aubree Pynn took me on with these characters.

Narration was spot on as Wesleigh and Winston gave a really good performance.

I absolutely loved the books. I do wish they were all bundled as one and into a more lengthy storyline. But I fell in love with the whole crew! Loved that they were my Sorors too ❤️
