Described as “a fierce and unrelenting tribe of savages," the islanders have no intention of letting their captive go.

Invitation for adventure
This is the sort of story that, as generations go by, invites the reader to conjure further and more elaborate adventures for such a character. We don’t get to know what makes him tick, but he is the pillar one looks to in any potential catastrophe. Action packed. Romantic. Humorous. Classic.

Wonderful novel, good translation, odd recording.
A wonderful novel in a good translation, but the narration is oddly recorded. It sounds as though it was narrated quickly and then slowed down, and the L & R channels are not completely in sync, which makes it sound like AI narration despite the narrator's pleasant, human intonation.
