This time, Minalan faces a real strategist; one who drives his armies with purpose and efficiency. The road to war leads through Megelin Castle and the vulnerable lands to the south of Vanado. Old enemies will become allies, and old friends will become valuable assets.
War, however, is not what is preoccupying Minalan; the knowledge of the end of the world is. great but a few of the chapters are out of place
like the Rest of the series the story was great but around the hidden Castle chapter they bring in the Cat of night with out any contact then go in to finding the hidden cave at the iron hill castle. the book also talk about the cows that haven't been gifted to him yet. then the next chapter bring up the cow goddess so some need to edit the book a bit better.

A fine addition to a stellar series!
I have yet to find another series that blends intelligent writing, high fantasy, science fiction, wit, knowledge of human belief, and more...Arcanist is a great chapter in the Spellmonger saga and I look forward to future installments.

This series is fantastic. performance is as always great! This is like a adult Harry Potter. Not so much school, but learning politics, who are good allies? fighting a magical war.Who knew you could put your enemy in a hopster pocket? And oh yes the cows wiped out the enemy. you'll just have to hear the series it's worth it. can't wait for the next.
