I love EVERYTHING about this book series!!
each character has a story strong respect for the women in there lives it's a 50/50 relationship on all characters in each relationship. The Narrators are AMAZING
I love this whole series there is a different situation for each new character to come into the fold so it keeps u interested. Not a long drawn out series with repeat situations. I have listened to over 500 books by a Variety of authors an readers an this is the BEST!!!
WISH IT WOULD NOTIFY U WHEN A NEW BOOK TO THE AUTHORS COME OUT WITH LIKE A FLAG.i forget to check the Uthers I like while I'm trying to find a new series 😔 but get excited when there is a new one

Just as good as all the other Cerberus stories

I was hesitant to listen to this story after reading reviews complaining about April. But I’m glad I did… April isn’t annoying… she’s an 18 year that grew up in a cult. Of course she’s going to be needing and insecure. But as always Marie James rocked the story and Apollo was everything she needed.

April 🙄

I didn’t like April until the end. I get she was in a cult and all that but she treated Apollo like absolute shit. Right from start. She basically guilted him into marrying her and pretending to be her baby daddy all because he told her to let him know if she needed anything 😂 then proceeds to talk to shit when he truly wants to do it. Luckily everyone knows the truth so it’s definitely a less bitter of a situation but who demands this much from someone and then at the same time gets angry when he is more than accommodating. Whatever, Apollo and the club are great and I’m just glad she finally snapped out of the cult way of thinking. It was like she hated everything the cult stood for but was still in the cult mindset which I get but get some damn therapy or talk with your sister you can’t live your life hating everything the cult stood for but at the same time still living in their way of life and judging other people for not living in that way of life. Pick a side girlfriend or at least get some help.

Excellent read/listen. I highly recommend the whole series. I love Apollo. I can never get enough of the MC series. I love Marie James and the narrators.

Love this whole series

However so many times during this one in particular I wanted to slap the shit out of April. It drove me crazy that Apollo was honest after the first time he made a mistake and she constantly accused him and tries to run instead of them actually being a team. It seriously raked on my nerves. I can't wait for the next audio book in this series I love all of them! even this one its just not my favorite.

So I left a 5 star review for both the narration and the story... Why the 4 STAR??

I LOVED Apollo and April! BUT, I'm tired of these last few Cerberus stories ending with no EPILOGUE. I mean come on! We held out for so long for the HEA!!! Where is the epilogue????

At least! And I'm saying a big Thank you here, at least the epilogue wasn't a lead in to the next book, because DAMN, was I tired of that!!! But instead you leave us with nothing? No epilogue, no birth of the baby? Nothing? Not cool!!!

I wanted MORE of Apollo and April!!! The ending was so abrupt left me wanting more. I didn't feel fulfilled at the end :(⁷

I couldn't make it past the 11th chapter, and I really tried! 🙄

This plot line was the worst of these Cerberus books by far & I only made it to the beginning of the 11th chapter. I honestly couldn't stand going on any further. The main character, April was so entirely unlikable, it made it difficult to relate to her, much less like her in the least. The extreme naïveté in how she got pregnant, & then how she came running to a full grown man with an established life, expecting him to drop everything for her, was just too much. Then, not only that, but to have the author completely make Nate, who's almost 30 btw, sound like a pu$$y whipped cuck for even agreeing to marry an unreasonable pregnant TEENAGER he's met one time, no questions asked. No man would ever tolerate that disrespectful bs, much less cave to the whim of some random chick that shows up pregnant expecting the world. I'm sorry, but this was the most ridiculous, outlandish, overly dramatic, moronic, stupidest storyline I could've ever imagined someone would publish. Let's not normalize bringing trust issues & insecurities into relationships. April severely needed therapy & cult deprogramming, not a marriage! I feel sorry for men living with women like this, get help instead of going from relationship to relationship dragging your baggage around hurting ppl in the process. Not only did I hate April, but I lost all respect for Nate for tolerating her shit.
So let's lay out what got me here specifically:
She's a teenager
She's a stupid pregnant teenager
She's a liar
She's a manipulator
She has high expectations for a man she's met once.
She bailed & went to a hotel room when he got dressed in the middle of the night??
She's unreasonable
She irrational & unlikeable
I don't like her.
This storyline was utter trash & the only thing tolerable was the narrator's.
