Resumen del Editor

This is Daddy Dearest Book 2. The Daddy Dearest series features single dads. Each book in the series features a new couple and setting. This book can be listened to as a stand-alone.

Jamie Bailey has not had such a wonderful life. He gave up his dreams of Harvard at 18 to raise his sister’s unwanted baby, and later a prized job to help a sick friend. Now the father of six-year-old Mia, and assistant manager at Raven Books, Jamie’s dreams are dashed once again when Uncle Billy admits the bookshop is in dire straights.

Stanton Potter, son of the most notorious businesswoman in Bedford Falls, loves his job teaching at the local elementary school. But he’s less than thrilled when he is forced to put together a Christmas pageant with first-graders, including Mia Bailey.

When Stanton meets Jamie, angels sing. Jamie’s gender-bending fashion sense and sweet aura have Stanton suffering through the worse crush he’s had since he was a teen. But can there be any hope for them when Jamie and Mia’s lives are about to be uprooted?

This Christmas, it’s Jamie’s turn to receive a little help from heaven.

Sweet Miracle

I am going to blame it on driving in traffic while listening bu it took a while for me to catch the connection to It's a Wonderful Life. These two were so sweet with each other. Jamie has done so much to help others it was great to finally see things going well for him.

Perfect Christmas story

Jaime Bailey had to give up his dreams to become a daddy, and he does not regret it, although sometimes all his life seems a long series of having to give up all the good things he found. Stanton Potter, his daughter Mia’s teacher, is one of those good things he won’t be able to keep… or will he?
This is the perfect Christmas short story, with likeable characters, an entertaining plot with just the exact amount of anguish and a very happy ending. I loved both main characters, and I really enjoyed the kids in Stanton’s class antics. And those clinking references to It’s a Wonderful Life… Tristan Josiah’s narration is the perfect channel for the story, a masterful performance which leaves you with a happy smile and a content heart.

A sweet found family, Holiday romance!

This is book 2 in the Daddy Dearest series and can be listened to as a standalone.

This was an absolutely adorable listen.
Jamie has put his life on hold to raise his sister's child as his own.
When he meets Stanton at the elementary school's Christmas pageant, he is instantly smitten.

It will take a little bit of divine intervention to help Jamje, Stantom and Mia get the family they deserve just in time for Christmas.

Tristan Josiah did an amazing job in giving each character a unique voice and his audio delivery was smooth and enjoyable.

loved it!

This book was everything I love about Christmas books/movies. A small town that is a character in and of itself and comes included with a busy-body or two, a Hallmark-esque romance (all sweet and not too much angst), a Christmas miracle just in time to save the day... and the narration was top notch. would definitely recommend this story to a friend!

A Sweet Christmas Novella

This was a sweet short story for the Christmas season. I loved the references to It’s a Wonderful Life. The story started slowly and was stilted although that could have been due to the boring narrator. Obviously this is fiction so anything goes, but that was an oddly run elementary school.
