Inspiring, indeed

This is an inspiring read – and a must read for anyone who wants to listen to a 9/11 survival story. I haven’t read one in all of these years and now I have read two in two weeks. I want to remember to see life as she now does and look at each day as an ‘extra day’. You can be either a believer or a non believer to get a boost from this book.
The narrator is excellent as well – one could imagine that it was Genelle narrating herself.
The audio is 6 hours long and there seemed to be a bit of a redundancy in the content, but you know, it wasn't a bad thing because it was a worthwhile discussion!

The unity of Spirit of America

Genele brought to reality the horror experienceed that day. I live in Wisconsin so what happened was more an abstraction because I couldn't imagine what it was like. All that I could do was pray for the heartache people had to be experiencing. I felt tears several times while listening to how people came together to help and lift each other up. Also when I compared the unity of 2001 to the division of 2025 I feel nothing but heartache.

Never forget

As a born and raised Nyer this event will forever be implanted in my brain. The towers were just part of our lives, work and play for me. Hell, I even stayed at the hotel once. To listen to this woman's story of bravery and life altering experience is amazing. She's a strong woman too and somehow didn't look at the dark side, but she overcame. Nearly 24 years later, it's still a horror to me even as an observer. She's a very lucky lady. One of few who made it out alive
