Captivating History does a wonderful job hosting this series. The audiobook out to weave together all the diverse strands of history that make up the African Continent today and it did excellently.

Why isn't this taught in school?

This book will fill in many of the gaps you you learned in World History!

A Captivating Guide

This is an excellent start to the broad scope of African history and tells one that this is a continent that contains/contained many cultures. I will also look at the different Great Courses to find something beyond Egypt.

Great for beginners

Well researched and very well presented audiobook. Worth watching. U will learn a lot about neglected African history. Of course, it's produced for an Afro-American audience, nonetheless, it's overwhelming.

This is a good guide audiobook about a part of world history that is tremendously neglected. This is captivating and informative for any audience and can go a long way scatter out-of-date myths about African culture.
