So much action
Love it… lots of action. The plot is thickening, although I can bet I know what’s going to happen next. Having said that, this book kept me engaged and I am on to the next in the series.

Love the story, but....
I live in Lewisburg and I love the story but the description of my "town" is wrong. it's actually a Village and doesn't have a court house, active train tracks or a pharmacy.

Good book.
I do have to chuckle at their accents like a Texans when they're Yankees from Chicago area. I think this author must have read a lot of Louis lamour in his day. Enjoying them.

It's an entertaining listen
What stands out for me is the banter that the characters have between each other. It helps flesh them out and makes them more rounded for me.

Repetitive
I enjoy the storyline, but the narrator is very monotonous. Also the constant my son, my wife, my brothers in arms is a bit too much
