So dreamlike! Human, relatable characters with modern problems. The setting, England between the two wars, maintains vivid historical details.

Didn't hold my interest

Sadly, I did not finish this one. It simply couldn't keep my interest, probably because my expectations were too high. Perhaps I'll revisit it again, give it another chance.
