Are you an Alpha?

If you think you might be an alpha, this book is a great guide on what it takes to become one and how to be successful as one. Good tips throughout the audio on becoming your best self, I think these can apply whether you are an alpha or not. Well written and easy to listen to.

Engaging throughout

I enjoyed the audio book. It kept me engaged the whole time, which is a challenge for me.

Empowering Book, For All Females

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting when I chose this book at a book review site, but this audiobook pleasantly surprised me. While we're all familiar with the concept of an alpha male, either from real life or fiction (or both), I actually hadn't heard the term “alpha female” before. The author clarifies that the alpha female differs greatly from the male of the species. She is strong, confident, but still considers others and has other softer traits that align more with innate feminine strengths. The author provides several examples of alpha females, like former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Michelle Obama, and Dolly Parton. The audiobook goes over several key topics, like how the alpha female is in family and romantic relationships and at work. The author stresses that the alpha female may not always necessarily consider herself to be courageous or decisive, but through her thoughts and actions, others would see her as such. While she might have fear when facing challenging circumstances, she acts from strength—hidden or newly found—anyway. I like this idea of an alpha female, especially how it is presented in this book. In the book’s conclusion, the author states that an alpha female may not be so in all areas of her life, but she still strives to be the best version of herself, acting from her unique desires, strengths, and understanding of the world. Whether or not you consider yourself to be an alpha female, this is a wonderfully empowering book that allows you to appreciate your strengths as a person and as a woman. Highly recommended.
