Just pick through it

I always enjoy a Kendall Ryan book. She gives us fun books that are worth the time. I'm just getting into the whole audible thing to help accompany my commutes. Sometimes I wish I could narrate for some of my favorite authors I enjoyed the familiarity that the characters had with each other. I think it allowed Becca to really let go and trust Owen with her body and heart.

Sucking in

Jason has an amazing voice. Only thing that's very loud, is his inhale at the beginning of sentence. I listen to books on my walk, yoga and work. Hearing him inhale through this book makes me not want to listen to anymore of his narration. Only, he has that voice!!

This is a fun story!

This story was so much fun to listen to. Have to say the narrators were awesome. Jason Clarke is 1 of my 2 top male narrators he has such a range of voices that just change easily through the dialogue. The story of Owen and Becca is swoon worthy. Two people finding there way through what a relationships means to them while Owen trying to help Becca to see how strong she really is and Becca showing Owen how he deserves so much more. It was really a great book. No big drama between characters just fun hearing about evolving relationships.

Oh man this was great!!!

What a fabulous addition to the series! I’m getting this and another series I’m reading much like it mixed up so don’t completely remember book one. THIS story has a delicate situation being worked through and I adore Owen for handling it beautifully and appalls Becca for her bravery. The atëam was in point and the action never let up. No 3rd act break up, just growth and love and warmth.
Erin Mallon is a new narrator for me but a really good one! I loved her portrayal of Becca and she had a decent males portion voice too! Of course, one of my all time favorite male voices, Jason Clarke, knocked it out of the park as always. His dee gravelly voice just does it for me 🥵. These two together were 🔥🔥I only listened, did not read so took me a few days to get through it as I only played while driving but I created extra trips over the weekend just for more time! 😆 Great series so far and can’t wait to see whose up next in their crew!

My review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars The book is really good and the voices are really good on the audible version. Not recommended for kids under the age of 18+. Trigger warning for rape and alcohol. Other than that the book gives you an insight to the life of a professional athlete in hockey. This is book two in the hot jocks series. I really like Jason Clark I feel like he really knows how to narrate from Owens perspective really well

Erin Mallon’s voice!

Jason Clark is amazing, wish he had narrated the entire thing. Erin Mallon over pronunciates words and it is so annoying and hard to get past. I usually won’t listen to things she reads but really wanted to hear this story. Why does audible keep hiring her?!?!
