Herriot’s stories really capture one’s imagination and Nicholas Ralph is a treasure, bringing them to life!

the stories..of this man's life around animals

I liked to follow the sequence of James Harriots life..starting off, gaining confidence as a vet..falling in love and marriage, made me also relate more acceptingly to the sequences of my own life, now retired and starting a new chapter..

James Harriot’s stories are timelessly good, as always. But I particularly enjoy this performance by Nicholas Ralph.

I have been a fan of these books for years but had not ever read this one. The performance was great as I appreciated the accent! I'd listen to it again!
