I'm In Love With Trunk
I've thoroughly enjoyed each of the First & Ten players, but Trunk is my new and all time favoritest characters. The story is incredible and the second chance romance is amazing. Along with the story, Jim Roberts has really come along from the first narration I heard him perform, and he made this story even better!!!

A riveting sports romance
Al is one of my favorite Characters in this series. I like the least likely hero type guy and Al could push your buttons.I also Like Carla and was so glad to see both Al and Carla's story. She is strong and feisty but also has a heart of gold. They perfectly fit together.
we also get more of the other characters too.
The story is interesting and there were several twists, a touch of humor and of course some sensual lovemaking. And of course, it's a football romance so the on-field scenes were well done too!
Jim Roberts adds the perfect touch to the narration by not just reading but by voice acting, the scenes as well. he gives the story an added depth.
If you like tough guys, strong female leads, twists, good football and some sensual loving this is for you!

The Football Player and the Bar Owner
Al "Trunk" Mahoney and Carla Ricci were attracted to each other when they first met but he was married and she didn't mess around with married men so they kept each other in the friend zone. Al and his wife divorced. He wanted to sell the house with bad memories and needed a place to stay. Carla offered to rent him a room above the bar. They kept fighting their attraction but gave in one night. They both fell in love with each other but were afraid to say it to each other. Plus they each had a secret that they thought would be a deal breaker for their relationship. I really enjoyed this audio book and the descriptions of the football games and the team's journey to the Super Bowl. Jean Joachim wrote a wonderful story and Jim Roberts narrated it wonderfully. I asked for a free copy and am willingly giving my review. If you enjoy football and romance, you will enjoy this book, too.
