This book was such an enjoyable story to read

This author chose to write about two women from different time periods. The story about one of the women was intriguing. The other woman's story will pull at reader's heartstrings. This book is so worth reading. I enjoyed reading along in the book as well as listening to the wonderful narration. The front cover is just stunning. This is one gifted writer.

Slow start

I almost did not finish this book as the story seemed to drag. I try to give books 25% before I give up, but I was ready to DNF this one way sooner. Not going to say this book blew me away, finally, but I am glad I finished it. In the end I did enjoy the story, it just took the author too long to get to the heart of the story. And the ending was very satisfying after hearing multiple times about one of the main characters health journey.

Boring!

Horrible storytelling and zero character depth. Such a boring book. Couldn't even finish this one.

Just okay

The story was very predictable and the narrator weak. Not really worth the time or effort to listen.
