Changed my life!

I’ve never read a book that has changed my prayer life so dramatically. Things I thought I’ve never pray for...and here I am. So thankful this book has directed my eyes to the King of Kings who cast out all fears.

Big Fan - 1000% Relatable

I loved this book. I laughed and cried. I want to get the hard-copy too so I can read it again with a highlighter - it is filled with verses and quotes I LOVED. I feel like Scarlet and I have so much in common from anxiety to striving for perfection and God’s love...and kind of being hot messes - and our husbands would be kindred spirits too with their passion for God (to where they sometimes cry when they pray) and patient kindness toward us as their wives and love for dragon stories. I heard Scarlet interviewed on a podcast (20,000 Reasons) and I knew I wanted to read her book ASAP. She tells funny stories from her life and relates them to the gospel and Scripture in a therapeutic way that feeds my soul. I recommend this book for moms, worn out Christians and any creative type people with hyper-active imaginations and big feelings. The most moving part of the book was the story of Joy that they adopted..:it just left me saying, “Wow.”

A great story of her life told in a relatable and humourous way. Great for people struggling with anxeity.

Real and authentic

I’ve listen to a lot of audiobooks but Scarlet brings a realness and authenticity in her words that are not easily forgotten. I also loved how everything pointed back to Scripture yet she didn’t spiritualize everything away. What a great book!

I will listen again and again!

I will also get the print version and share with friends and family members.

Scarlet has perfectly expressed so many things I personally identify with (and many others do also I suspect). The small, the in-between and the big things...ALL the things. They are covered. Jesus. The one WORD. He has covered them all. As a long-time believer, I know this. As an all-the-time weak sinner, I forget this. (#struggling).

Thank you, Jesus, for Scarlet. For the talent, intellect, humor and relatability You have given her, for the wisdom beyond her young years, for her sweet, humble spirit, and her willingness to be used by You in this way to remind readers and listeners of Your strength, power and love in the midst of inevitable scary things. Thank You for all the Scriptures she shared in this work, beautifully applying Your words to ease fears with Your love and banish lies with Your Truth.

I personally have scary things in front of me right now and I feel more hopeful and encouraged and less anxious and worried. Scarlet has, in a way, cleared away clouds that blurred my ability to look to Jesus. Thank you, Scarlet, for this work.

To those who are thinking about reading or listening I say, the sooner the better. Drop whatever you are doing and consume this book now.

This book is refreshing and a great listen. Scarlet Hiltibidal wrote the book and she reads it here. Unlike most authors, her tone and style are great.
The book makes me laugh, think, and maybe cry a little.
You must listen to this.
