So inspiring

I binged this book in a single day. Greta is so easy to relate to and yet so inspiring in building connections and adventuring with our children. Immediately after finishing it I was inspired to take a road trip with my kids. It reminded me that we don't have to be moms who have it all together or skilled we can just venture out and build those muscles together with our kids. She gives great tips, like holding your kids pack for just a few minutes and then giving it back to them when they are in the training years. I've used that on the trail and it worked like a charm. There is so much more goodness in the book, I highly recommend it!

I will recommend this book to anyone I know who starts homeschooling in the future!

Inspiring to any parent

What an inspiring book! It makes you want to have a deeper and closer relationship with your child/children. It’s motivating me to go outside and “adventure together.” It’s all about creating memories and not about the cost or plan in doing it. Thanks you Greta!

Inspiring

Inspiring book on how to switch one’s lifestyle to being an adventurer.

People need to be aware that this isn’t a “how to hike/camp with kids” book. Other people do this well. The author in this book does well with helping a fearful parent slowly overcome anxieties around hiking/camping/museums, giving suggestions through her own personal failures and successes.

I feel uplifted and more confident. It is exactly what I needed in this moment.

Inspiring book filled with tools

What a great book. This has given me the boost I need to keep going, keep showing up, keep investing in my kids. It will pay off....Covid has given me time, time to adventure and reconnect with my kids. We have pursued hiking and finding bioluminescence partly due to Greta’s influence. We have loved it!!! This book reminded me of the importance for it to invest some more, weekly....

It is and will be worth it.

Today I read the last chapters and I must admit that I was in tears. Her conclusion chapter touched many of my heart strings. I won’t give it away, but the full circle idea was precious! Have never seen my adult life as a mother with that lens. My future and priorities have shifted. Thank you Greta for pointing out what matters most. What relationships I need to invest in!

I initially was disappointed that Greta didn’t narrate her book, but honestly I don’t know how she would have read the Conclusion chapter without getting emotional. But, I actually enjoyed this narrator. She did a very good job!

Highly recommend this book for anybody wanting to adventure. She gives practical ideas and hope of how to start just where you are!

This book is beautiful. It is filled with sound ideas to bring our family life and relationships fully alive. It spoke to my own desire for adventure and to pass that love onto my children. It is practical, simple, yet challenging in the best of ways. This book encourages me and helps me envision how I can do even more adventures (big & small) with my children, making them meaningful without getting overwhelmed.

absolutly beautiful! exactly what I needed to hear to get out and get going with my three little boys 5 and under. we home school and I'm taking so many tips from this book to use in life. Can't wait to make lady connections with my kids and our friends. thank you!

Inspired, encouraged and ready to go!

Because of this book, I have already started to adventure alone with my kids. We have always done adventure as a family, but I held back from going by myself. I see the value of this regular investment in our kids and in myself too. I can do things that scare me and push me out of my comfort zone. I'm looking forward to our regular adventures together.
