None of the technical stuff you got from book 1
If you're looking for more technical data like was in the first Distant Eden, then this book is not for you. It's a follow-on story of Adrian; one of the characters from the first book. It has very little of the technical stuff you got from the first book.
The book leaves the door open for a 3rd book.
