That’s a favorite phrase of Major Abe Darabie. As the cartel closes in on his team and the chances of a successful mission begin to erode, Abe is forced to confront whether the ends justify the means and how much of a black-hearted devil he’s really willing to be in order to get the job done.

Another intense, action packed thriller from DJ Molles! Narrated by the amazing Christian Rummel. I loved this audible book!!

where is the line?

So being honest, I am usually not a fan of prequels. I'm not saying they can't but usually they do not give me the same wonder and drive to turn the page to read what happens next. Well I stand corrected. D.J. Molles gives us a story that not only gives a deeper look into the man named Abe Darabie, but once again expanse The Remaining world. How he is able to balance his laugh out loud humorous moments with the monsters that are men throughout this book is incredible to me. But Abe boils down to one thing for me where is the line between good men doing bad things when they have to and just being a monster on the "right" side. Abe feels like a look into a soldiers battle for there soul and I'm here for it. As we have come to expect Christian Rummel nails the pace and inflection of the deep and powerful moments.

Just as my Remaining addiction was beginning to settle down and become tolerable, I foolishly devoured ABE without stopping! Now my addiction needs more! I declare DJ Molles a story pusher! He’s hooked me on his characters and tales and I can’t get enough. It’s cruel of him to do this to his readers! Perhaps he can skip the writing process and just spin spontaneous stories thru live broadcasts to keep the the cravings calmed. Now the withdrawal process will begin again. Sigh.
As always, this latest installment of the Remaining Universe was exciting, intense and entertainment at its best.
Christian Rummel’s performance was top notch and brought Abe to life spot-on.
Yes, the addiction is worth the torment of waiting for the next installment. Hopefully, it’s already in the Molles vault and will be brought out quickly to pacify my insatiable need for these characters and their adventures.
