Sweet and Funny

Sweet, funny, romantic and awkward. Wonderfully narrated and extremely entertaining. Light and has a lot of heart. Highly recommend!

Loved it!

I have enjoyed all of the Valentine's Inc Cruise books but this one was probably my favorite of the bunch! Susan Hawke does an excellent job at infusing humor into her stories and this one was no exception. I love the fake boyfriend trope and this story just came together beautifully! Michael Pauley is phenomenal as always!

A hysterical narration

Hawke's Abandoning Ship is truly one to listen to. I found myself often laughing at the banter between characters and truly enjoying the dynamic more so in the audio than the book. Pauley has given these two characters such a fantastic dynamic that I really was sad that was over when it was.

Hilarious!

I’ve been loving this second round of Valentine’s Inc books! When I saw this go to audio, I had to grab it with it being a favorite author/narrator team. I love the fake relationship trope, and Ryan and Sawyer’s story certainly delivered on that. Michael Pauley really pulled you into their story with his wonderful narrations and made you feel part of it! This was a fun, sweet and sexy read. Oh, and the hilarity that ensues in this book caught me dabbing at my eyes a few times! If you’re looking for a fun, sexy, and hilarious listen, I couldn’t recommend this one more!

As with all the Valentine’s Inc stories, this can standalone.

Narrator Michael Pauley delivered this romantic comedy with great promise, but it missed the mark. I expected this to be funny and sexy, but I am still waiting for a PUN. It was somewhat entertaining, but being spoiled as I am, I went into this with much too high expectations.
The plot was predictable, but I continued listening with the hope for some twist or turn to blow my mind. But, unfortunately it was cheesy.
I recommend this audiobook for when you are in the mood for some light M/M entertainment.
