great book! Thought the narration was outstanding. This entire Series has become an instant classic for any sci-fi fan. really fun and smart. highly recommend.

In love with this series!

If you have made it to book 3 then you are in for the long haul. This may be my favorite sci-fi adventure. I know I'm not going to want this to end.

Wow, Sci fi space drama at its best

Roller coaster ride! Futuristic space drama and exploration in a not so unbelievable world. Can't wait for the next book.

Jefferson Mays Knocks it out of the Park!!

This book was amazing. The writing is incredible and Jefferson Mays is literally the best narrator in audible. I can't recommend it, and the rest of the Expanse series, enough!!!

I really love this series. Great listening, superb character development ...plots have a lot of twists...superb books to be at home with...

Fun book, but the plot felt a little contrived

I love the series so far, though the plot of book 3 felt a little contrived and the attitude/feelings directed toward one of the characters was very inconsistent. Still, love the world James Corey has created and the idea behind the series. Fun read.

I would listen to Jefferson read the phone book. It helps that there's a million turns the book could take, yet kept so believable.

Another perfect addition to the Expanse universe. From start to finish a very captivating story.

Overall a wonderful addition to the Expanse series

Performance: Jefferson Mays does a wonderful job of emphasising the nuances of all the different characters. He definitely allows you to feel the coldness of Clarissa, the gruffness of Bull, and all of the other characters. Great job here.

Story: I enjoyed the story a great deal. I always enjoy the portions of stories where they greater picture is revealed, and the (story) universe expands out to show us the grander world that lies beyond our little portion. Abaddon's Gate is definitely the appropriate name for this book. The only thing that got a bit tiring for me was the excessive back and forth with the human drama of "control". I feel like that portion dragged a bit. Overall though, I definitely enjoyed it!
